Baby coming soon
It’s baby month!! Our little girl should be coming around May 20th, so please keep us in your prayers. The house is ready and we are just waiting to meet her! It has been so fun to see the kids and staff get excited with us as we count down the days. By the time we post the next blog post we should be a family of 3!
Beach Party!
This last week we took the staff and kids to a water park on the beach. We had a blast! For most of our kids it was the first time they had been swimming and seen the beach. Our plan was to leave after everyone ate lunch, but we all were having so much fun that we got back in the water for a couple more hours. It is always refreshing to do something that everyone enjoys, so much that the adults ask to stay longer to keep going down the water slides! This also came after a fairly hectic week and was a good stress reliever to wind down for the weekend. We are so grateful for all of our staff that makes our mission possible and for seeing the joy on each of our little one’s faces.
A day of relief
We were also blessed by a local missionary and a small team working with her. They came to our house for an entire day to give everyone a complete day off! We did team building exercises and tried to use the time to strengthen our staff team. The kids were happily exhausted after a day of running around with older kids and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. It was a win all around. Our community here makes sure to look after each other and love each other well.
