2 Weeks Down!

Hey everyone! Thanks for following along, the Gaultney family has landed safely in Huntsville, Alabama and we’re settling in nicely. We are currently renting a house with Nick’s brother that is within walking distance of the grandparents. The dogs have a big backyard and we have never seen them so happy! Sweet Naya is 6 months old and eating everything she can get her into her chunky little hands. We’re beyond grateful for everyone who has helped in our time of transition, both our community in Huntsville, and our supporters who’ve been with us through all of this! We’ve been so blessed by your generosity.

Next Steps

Nick is currently job hunting and working on his web agency. We don’t need much to live off of and we’re trusting God to take care of us as always. While we’re still lacking certain furniture and housewares, we have the essentials. We are very grateful to have the necessities and to be slowly settling in.

How You can Help

First of all, a huge thanks to everyone. When we left Guate we gave away all of our belongings to our community there, and God as proven to do the same for us here in Huntsville. Thrift stores, family, friends, and Facebook communities have all given us a hand in furnishing the house so far! We’ve been shown a lot of love and we won’t be quick to forget.

For those wanting to help us out in a more tangible way, we have an Amazon list of items we’re hoping to get as time goes on. For example, we have a beautiful new mattress, but no bed frame yet! Although I think Maple (our dog) likes it better that way since its easier to jump onto in the middle of the night! Here is that Amazon list for anyone who wants to help, or feel free to reach out to Nick or I (Isabel) for anything else. https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/O1IXHWECK4BZ?ref_=wl_share

The Next Chapter

With the end of the year approaching, we are excited to see what God has in store for us. We will be posting an update in January with more information on our financial situation and plans. Be sure to keep all of the kids and staff at House of Destiny in your prayers as they transition into this new season as well.

Have a very Merry Christmas from Nick, Isabel and Naya!

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.  This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
